Surrey County Council's Highways and Transport Service is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving Surrey's road network
Requirements :
Your experience of successfully designing and implementing a range of highway improvement schemes, or of assisting in the design and implementation of such schemes.
Your design engineering capability, including experience of using AutoCAD and any relevant highway design packages.
Knowledge of engineering design related legislation, practices, and procedures.
Your relevant industry qualifications plus any membership with any professional bodies. To be considered for this role you must be eligible to be accepted onto an HNC Civil Engineering course or will already have achieved HNC or above qualification in Civil Engineering.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full, clean driving licence. The role requires the ability to work and travel across the County, and there may also be the need for occasional weekend and evening work.
